Juventus Fiorentina Highlights

Juventus Back to Winning Ways with 1-0 Victory Over Fiorentina

Gritty Performance Secures Three Points

Miretti's Early Strike Proves Decisive

Juventus returned to winning ways in Serie A with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Fiorentina on Tuesday. The Bianconeri, who had not won in the league since February 28, secured all three points thanks to a goal from Nicolò Miretti in the 10th minute. After a disappointing draw against Torino over the weekend, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri made several changes to his starting lineup, bringing in Miretti and Leandro Paredes for Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot. The changes paid dividends early on, as Miretti found the back of the net with a low drive from the edge of the box. Miretti's goal proved to be the only one of the game, as Fiorentina struggled to break down a resolute Juventus defense. The Viola had a few chances to equalize, but Wojciech Szczęsny was in inspired form, making several fine saves to keep his clean sheet intact. The victory moves Juventus up to eighth place in the Serie A standings, six points behind the top four. Fiorentina, meanwhile, remain in 12th place, but they are now only two points clear of the relegation zone.

Allegri: "Important Win for Us"

After the game, Allegri praised his team's performance, saying: "It was a very important win for us. We needed to get back to winning ways, and we did it against a good Fiorentina team. I'm pleased with the way my players played, especially in defense. We were compact and disciplined, and we didn't allow Fiorentina any easy chances." Miretti, who was making his first Serie A start of the season, was also happy with his performance, saying: "I'm delighted to have scored the winning goal. It was a great feeling to help my team win. I'm starting to feel more confident, and I'm hoping to continue to contribute to the team."
